Last night my best friend in the whole world took me out to dinner to celebrate my birthday a little bit early. Cassie and her precious little girl, Olivia, (who is really my second best friend in the whole world) surprised me with a birthday cake, presents, and of course some of Cassie's delicious homemade cookies!

Beach Day, 7/15/12

Alan and I went to Orange Beach for the afternoon this past Saturday for a little much needed R&R on the beach. The weather was perfect - didn't even break a sweat and there was a nice breeze. After we relaxed on the beach, we went to The Hangout in Gulf Shores and had a yummy dinner while listening to some good tunes from the live band. It was a great day!

Alan and I took a weekend trip to Memphis to see my sister, our brother-in-law and our two precious nephews. Happy Birthday Uncle Ron!

We celebrated my Uncle Ron's birthday tonight at my parents house in Daphne. After a delicious steak and potato dinner, Uncle Ron blew out the candle on his dish of homemade banana pudding! It was divine. Thanks, Mom!

Yesterday we traveled to Hattiesburg to attend a birthday party for the little girl of some of our closest friends. Little Olivia turned three and she had a ball at her party!
