Thanksgiving, 2012

It's that time of year again! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Alan and I went to my parent's house in Daphne and joined them and my Uncle Ron in a spectacular feast! We ate SO much and had a wonderful time visiting, laughing, and telling stories. Here are a few photos from our day.

Happy Birthday Uncle Ron!

We celebrated my Uncle Ron's birthday tonight at my parents house in Daphne. After a delicious steak and potato dinner, Uncle Ron blew out the candle on his dish of homemade banana pudding! It was divine. Thanks, Mom!

Gran's 89th Birthday

Last Saturday was Gran's 89th birthday! We celebrated by taking her to dinner in Fairhope and then back to Uncle Ron's house for cake, ice cream and presents. She got lots of cards from her sweet family and had a great time. I am so thankful I got to spend her big day with her.

Aunt Judy Faye's Visit

My Aunt Judy Faye was in town this week and we spent some time with her last night in Fairhope. After a delicious dinner at Wintzell's we all went to the pier and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Dad's Birthday Lunch

We celebrated Dad's 61st birthday last Sunday by going to the restaurant at the Bass Pro Shop after church. We all ate some good food and Dad got lots of cards and presents. Happy Birthday, Dad! Hope year #61 is a great one!

Dinner with Family

On Saturday Alan and I drove down to Destin to see Angela, Jason and the boys. While we were there we met up with Chris (cousin) and his wife Shannon, and their beautiful girls Georgia, Riley and Marley. We all had dinner at Stinky's Fish Camp (yum) and had so much fun visiting and catching up!

Happy Memorial Day!

When I think of Memorial Day I think of the unofficial start of summer, cookouts, family and fun. This Memorial Day weekend I hope everyone was lucky enough to be surrounded by all of this, and took a moment to realize how blessed we are because of the sacrifices made for us by complete strangers.

Big Family Weekend

This weekend we got to spend some time with our wonderful family. Alan's parents came and stayed with us Friday through Sunday, and we enjoyed a great weekend of good food, the Farmer's Market, shopping, and the boys even built me a new staircase off my back door!
Also, my sister, brother-in-law, and two sweet nephews came to visit my mom and dad this weekend, and we got to go spend the day and evening with them Sunday. We loved playing with Harrison and Lawson, and had the traditional Bulman/Singley cookout (which seems to happen anytime we all get together). Weekend with Gran

Yesterday I went and stayed with Gran at mom and dad's house while they were in San Diego for the weekend. We had a great day - went to lunch and to the vegetable stand, and enjoyed the cooler weather we've been having out on the back porch. She even got a little sunshine and exercise walking around the backyard with me. We had fun visiting and talking together, and I got to spend the night in my old bedroom at my parents house! I feel very lucky I got to spend my Saturday with such a wonderful and important woman in my life.

Mom's 60th Birthday and Mother's Day 2011

This past Sunday Alan and I had my family over to our house in honor of mama's 60th birthday and also Mother's Day! We had celebrating with mom, dad, Gran and Uncle Ron, and we ate way too much good food and dessert (which is a given for any of my family's functions). Mom and Gran got a ton of Mother's Day cards, and mom got some nice birthday presents, including a beautiful David Yurman pearl ring from Mednikow! To see all the pictures from Sunday click here.
